TRIVIA AND STUFF JUST FOR FUN The Series "7" Winsor Newton Brushes were originally designed for Queen Victoria out of ivory, silver and kolinsky sable fibers in her favorite brush size : the # 7 round! ASK BRAMSCHANDOZ Q: WHAT IS A GICLEE'? A: As artists, we have a way of making simple things sound really cool (ie impasto for thick paint , plein air for outside etc.). Giclee' roughly translated means "sprayed on ink" or in computer lingo an ink jet print. JEFF'S TIPS Try using different types of salt for your watercolor paintings. The resulting blooms vary and can add interest. |
