After 78 remarkable years of serving this community, “UArt” has made the difficult decision to close our store.

Since opening our doors in Palo Alto in 1948, it has been our privilege to welcome generations of artists, art lovers, families, and customers of all ages. What began as a small family business grew into something far greater than we ever imagined — not just a store, but a place built on relationships, memories, community — and a love of art.

University Art has been part of our family for nearly eight decades, and you have been part of that family as well. Your loyalty, support, and friendship have meant more to us than words can truly express. “If it’s Creative, it’s Here” is a message that will always remind us of the value of art in all its forms.

We will continue to serve you at our Redwood City store and offer discounts on in-stock items. We hope you will stop by so we can personally thank you.
